OVERVIEW:

 

A semiconductor company with headquarters in China is currently seeking a Foundry Business Development Manager/ Director. This is an excellent opportunity for interested individual looking to grow from the current sales career or explore the career migration to sales. The position is based in Milpitas, California and will include both sales and engineering responsibilities.  A successful candidate must possess an organization skill and be able to:

·      Plan and carry out all regional sales activities on assigned accounts or areas

·      Be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction

·      Manage quality of product and service delivery

·      Be performance-oriented with leadership and cross functional communication

·       Self-motivated 

 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

 

·      Generate and qualify USA sales leads

·      Source and develop client referrals

·      Prepare sales action plans and strategies

·      Schedule sales activity with clients

·      Develop and maintain a customer database

·      Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials

·      Plan and conduct direct marketing activities

·      Make sales calls to new and existing clients

·      Develop presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients

·      Develop sales proposals and negotiate with clients

·      Prepare and present sales contracts

·      Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports to head office regularly

·      Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person

·      Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships

·      Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development

 

Desirable Qualifications:

 

·      Knowledge of relevant semiconductor applications and technologies

·      Knowledge of Foundry operations

·      Knowledge of customer service and business principles

·      Over 5 years’ experience in sales in semiconductor areas

·      Proven ability to achieve sales targets

 

 

 

 

Key Skills and Competencies

 

·      Bachelor degree and above in EE or Microelectronics

·      Persuasiveness planning and strategizing

·      Accountability and adaptability

·      Verbal communication with Chinese is a big plus

·       Goal driven and negotiation skills
