President's Words

Dear members,

CASPA’s BIMS/IC World delegation has ended successfully. We started at Shanghai on day 1, Oct. 20, to participate in CASPA—Shanghai chapter’s Annual Conference. Next day, we went to Beijing to attend the 1st IC World exhibition and hosted the 19th Beijing International Microelectronics Symposium. CASPA also gave speeches and hosted a morning session AI forum with full house attendees. On day 3, We visited BOE’s generation 8.5 fab that is capable of making 6 55-inch displays in one glass.

On day 4, we then headed to Xi’an to attend the 2nd programmer’s day festival and visited several high tech zones, companies, and startup incubators. On day 6, we attended Sichuan semiconductor industry development conference. CASPA delegation hosted and gave speeches in several sessions. On day 7, we went to Dujiangyan to see the 2000 years old irrigation system that still at works today.

CASPA’s next delegation trip is Semicon China on the week of March 18, 2019. Please mark your calendar. Lastly, we thank all local area’s executive supports to make our delegation trip fruitful.

  • Responsible for technical engagement for OTT customers, introduce the technical advantages of Huawei products to customers, and summarize the requirements from OTT customers.
  • Build good relationship with OTT customers, and provide technical support.
  • Build good relationship with distributors and system integrators, create market breakthroughs, and achieve sale goals and targets.
  • PhD in optoelectronic/optical communication background.
  • 5+ years’ sales and marketing experiences to optical module vendors or WDM equipment vendors.
  • Successful and tractable experiences in sale expansion for OTT manufacturers.
  • Experience of sale breakthroughs in a new and blank market.
