The semiconductor industry is experiencing a perfect storm, driving the continuation of Moore's Law, artificial intelligence applications, and 5G deployment, which also creates huge opportunities.
At the same time, in early December, several incidents affecting our industry occurred - Sino-US trade negotiations, an ICT executive in China was detained and bailed in Canada, the loss of the famous Silicon Valley scholar, and the fire in ASML’s supplier.
CASPA is a professional and politically neutral organization. We promote semiconductor technology and believe that technological advancement is indispensable and beneficial to all. We hope that problems will be resolved in a timely manner and all parties will be satisfied with the changes in the future.
Finally, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in 2019.
