CASPA Post-CES 2026 Sharing & Networking Event Recap

Mountain View, CA – January 18, 2026 — CASPA hosted a Post-CES 2026 Sharing & Networking Event where board members, lifetime members and guests came together to share what they saw, learned, and discussed at CES 2026.

The event started at 2:00 PM, hosted by Xuefeng (Steve) Jiang, CASPA Board Director and Special Event Team lead. The overall direction and theme of the event were visioned and guided by CASPA President Dr. Gary Wang.

Opening & Special Guest

Dr. Gary Wang opened the event with brief remarks on why CES matters to the semiconductor industry and how CASPA events help promote open knowledge sharing.

We were honored to welcome a surprise guest, Mr. Lung Chu, Global Vice President of SEMI and President of SEMI China, who shared his perspective on global and China semiconductor trends, including challenges and future directions.

  • Gary Wang shared his CES experience, focusing on Physical AI and robotics and how AI is moving into real-world applications.

  • Avery J. Ludiscussed AI in agriculture, including smart machinery from John Deere, and shared related IEEE insights from CES.

  • Danny Hua gave a broad overview of CES, covering robotics, NVIDIA, AMD, and key AI trends, along with his takeaways from the show.

  • Kuowei Chang focused on AI in healthcare, highlighting new applications and trends seen at CES.

Discussion & Networking

The sharing sessions led to active Q&A and open discussion, followed by networking where many attendees stayed to continue conversations. Attendance was strong, and many expressed interest in having more post-CES events in the future.
