1st Youth Club event:
🎉🎉🎉 A total of 40 attendees, including 17 elementary and middle school students, 5 university student mentors, and several parent volunteers, brought new energy and vitality to the CASPA community. The entire event, from preparation to execution and summary, was organized by the Youth Club members.
The participants engaged with cutting-edge technology through interactions with a robotic dog, operating a robotic arm, ice-breaking games, expert talks in the field of robotics, and introductions from pioneering university student entrepreneurs. This laid a solid foundation for future Youth Club projects. 🌞🌞🌞
Special thanks to President Mingyu for her strong support! She came to encourage the children right after her WIS event. Additionally, heartfelt thanks to Charlie, Tony, and Zhibin for their full participation today, contributing valuable insights for the present and future of the CASPA Youth Club.
We were also fortunate to have an inspiring interactive talk from David, a remarkable young entrepreneur who dropped out of his sophomore year at Upenn to start Bronco AI. Sincere gratitude to Rich and Yuyang as well: Rich shared trends in robotics development and asked the children many thought-provoking questions, while Yuyang vividly narrated the story of Fei-Fei Li, the “AI Mother.” Lastly, a big thank you to the university Coach Team members and all the volunteers who quietly supported this event!
