Santa Clara, CA – September 29, 2025 – The Chinese American Semiconductor Professional Association (CASPA) proudly announces the resounding success of its 2025 Annual Conference and Dinner Banquet (ACDB), held on September 27 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

This year’s theme, “AI Ecosystem Revolution: Advancing Tomorrow’s Intelligence Together,” drew over 1,000 registered attendees, including 600 in person and additional participants online. The strong turnout once again demonstrated CASPA’s role as a premier platform for advancing semiconductor innovation and global collaboration.

The ACDB opened with the CASPA Board of Directors election, followed by a morning AI Startup Forum where startup CEOs shared insights on the fast-evolving AI ecosystem. In the afternoon, industry experts explored the latest in GPU and processor technologies. Keynotes and panels throughout the day highlighted AI-driven semiconductor innovations, bringing together voices from both industry and academia.

The evening Dinner Banquet, sold out with 660 guests, was highlighted by an inspiring fireside chat with Dr. Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, hosted by CASPA President Gary Wang (2025–2026). Dr. Su emphasized that semiconductors are at a pivotal moment, closely tied to national security, geopolitics, and economic strategy, while innovation remains the key driver of progress. She encouraged young professionals to take on ambitious challenges—“The most difficult tasks often yield the greatest rewards”—and highlighted the importance of collaborative problem-solving in shaping the industry’s future.

On the transformative role of AI, Dr. Su predicted its expansion from cloud to edge and personal devices, stressing AMD’s commitment to open ecosystems that accelerate industry-wide progress. She also gave attendees a glimpse into her personal passions, sharing her love for boxing as a source of balance and resilience. In a meaningful moment, Dr. Su personally presented CASPA scholarships to outstanding students, underscoring her dedication to nurturing the next generation of talent.

The banquet was further enriched by Prof. Chenming Hu, CASPA Honorary Advisor and renowned “Father of the 3D Transistor” for his FinFET innovation, and San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan, who congratulated CASPA on its leadership in uniting the semiconductor community.
