We are thrilled to announce the official kick-off of the CASPA Mentorship Program on March 2, 2024! This marks the beginning of an exciting journey for both mentors and mentees within our esteemed community.
In the mentorship kick-off program, President Mingyu Qu provided an introduction to CASPA and delivered a welcoming speech.
Hua Xue, the VP of PSG Software Engineering at Intel, delivered an insightful speech on strategies for leadership skills, overcoming challenges and obstacles in career progression, career advancement in the semiconductor industry, transitioning from technical staff to management roles, and building a professional network.
Following this, Gary, the leader of the mentorship group, conducted a Q&A session with Hua, during which Hua provided detailed answers to questions from the audience.

the real rockstar of the show was Dr. Xiaodong Che, the Chief Technology Officer of the HDD Business Unit and a Senior Vice President at Western Digital Corporation. He gave a speech that was so inspiring, it made us want to jump out of our seats and start transforming ourselves from ordinary to extraordinary! He covered everything from self-awareness to storytelling to career phases to resilience and even gave us a reading list for each stage of development.
