MR. SHIN WEI
CEO, IVYMAX EDUCATION

As a Penn graduate, Mr. Wei had a very successful high-tech career and on Wall Street before he founded IvyMax with Dr. Miller, former Provost and Vice President of Stanford University. For more than a decade, Mr. Wei has been helping aspiring Asian students get admitted to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, UPenn, Stanford, MIT, Caltech, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and other prestigious universities. Every summer and winter, Mr. Wei takes high school students to do philanthropy works in rural China and Nepal such as microfinance, sustainable environmental engineering, public health, and human rights projects. Many of his students have developed passion, strong leadership skills and social responsibility through the philanthropy work and naturally became the candidates for the Ivy League universities.

Designs, co-designs and operates programs with UC Berkeley, Stanford, MIT, and other renowned organizations. 

In the recent decade, helped hundreds of students to get into their dream schools for continuous success.

MR JONAS L.
ABLE2SHINE

Jonas loves debate and has coached it for 3 years, sending over 50 bids to the Tournament of Champions. His success as a coach is backed by his own impressive record as a former high school Lincoln-Douglas debate competitor, having notably placed as a finalist in the National Debate Coaches’ Association tournament as well as a champion at the Damus Invitational and Voices Round Robin. He further pursued debate in college and became the champion of every regular season of NFA Lincoln-Douglas tournament he entered. With his debate experience, Jonas is concentrating on Philosophy at UC Berkeley with hopes to enter law school in the fall. Jonas prioritizes a creative-focused style of teaching, and he is excited to challenge his students at Able2Shine to the next level by highlighting their individual strengths.

Charlie Guo
Co-founder and CEO of X-Camp Academy

Charlie Guo: Co-founder and CEO of X-Camp Academy, a programming education institute for 6-12th Graders since 2017 in silicon valley. As a founding partner of the Himalaya Angel Fund, Dr. Guo’s investment areas include big data, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality. Dr. Guo earned his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence from UCLA.
