Dr. Naveed Sherwani

 Chairman, President & CEO of Rapid Silicon

Dr. Naveed Sherwani is a well-known semiconductor industry veteran with over 35 years of entrepreneurial, engineering, and management experience. He is widely recognized as an innovator and leader in the field of design automation of ASICs and microprocessors. Naveed has founded or co-founded over fifteen silicon companies including and raised over $1B in 15 funding rounds from marquee venture capital firms over the course of his career. While serving as President, CEO, or Chairman, Naveed has been recognized as the leader of the “Most Respected Private Semiconductor Company” a record five times by the GSA (Global Semiconductor Alliance, the premier semiconductor industry membership body). Naveed now serves as CEO of Rapid Silicon, aiming to drive the next wave of innovation by using open-source software to disrupt the FPGA industry. Naveed also serves as an advisor to American Frontier Fund (AFF).

Mr. Charles Huang

Co-founder of RedOctane

Charles Huang is a co-founder of RedOctane and the co-creator of the Guitar Hero video game franchise.  In 2005, the company published Guitar Hero, which went on to become the fastest video game to reach $1B in sales.  Activision acquired RedOctane in June 2006.  Guitar Hero was the best-selling video game in the world in 2007 and 2008.

Mr. Huang currently serves as board of directors of several startups and non profit organizations. He teaches a course on entrepreneurship at the University of California at Berkeley and is Chair of the UC Berkeley Foundation. He serves on the board of the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.

Mr. Huang immigrated to California as a young child and currently resides in Silicon Valley with his wife, Lillian.  Mr. Huang holds BA’s in Economics and Asian Studies from UC Berkeley.  His 2 daughters, Kaylan and Charlotte, are also graduates of Cal.

Dr. Yue Yu

Ivymax Academy

Yue holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Miami and a BS from Nankai University. As Director of Academic Affairs, he oversees the smooth and successful implementation of academic processes and procedures at IvyMax. In addition, Dr. Yu is in charge of curriculum development and program evaluations. He is also a veteran instructor in math and physics. Over the past few years, Yue has led several important curriculum-development projects, including AP Physics I for HBA. Many of his students achieved high scores or perfect scores on the SAT-II Subject and/or AP Physics exams. Certified by the College Board, Yue is authorized to teach various AP Physics and AP Calculus classes at IvyMax through HBA.

Dr. Charlie Guo

Co-founder and CEO of X-Camp Academy

Dr. Charlie Guo is X-Camp Academy‘s co-founder and CEO. One of the initiators of the computational agriculture project in a tech company. He is also the founding partner of the H-Founders Angel Fund, Dr. Guo investment areas include big data, artificial intelligence and augmented reality. Dr. Guo earned his PHD degree in Artificial Intelligence from UCLA.
