CASPA 2023 High-Tech Job Fair

The 2023 CASPA Hi-Tech Job Fair Event, held on May 20th at Onelin Onespace in San Jose, California, marked the successful culmination of the 2023 CASPA event series. Prior to the job fair, participants were privileged to attend two insightful online workshops. Zhaoxu Wang expertly conducted the workshop titled “Law for Employment and Startup,” while Tim Li, the CEO of HireIO, presented the second workshop, “Navigating the AI Revolution: Challenges, Opportunities, and Strategies for Semiconductor Professionals.”

The on-site job fair showcased the active participation of 10 renowned companies, including TSMC, ARM, Futurewei, Alchip, Empyrean, ASE, HireIO, Faraday-Tech, Cannaan-Creative, and InnoLight. With more than 100 job opportunities available across various locations such as the Bay Area, Austin, Phoenix, and remote positions, the event attracted substantial interest. Over 400 enthusiastic attendees registered for the event, with 180 participants present on the day.
Complementing the job fair was a career development seminar featuring esteemed specialists Tom Zhang, Ken Reed, and Gary Xie. This seminar aimed to provide valuable insights and guidance for participants’ career growth and development, and it was highly regarded by both hiring companies and job seekers.
The CASPA job fair received positive feedback from hiring company participants, who expressed their satisfaction with the event. They were pleased to report that they received a significant number of high-quality resumes, ensuring access to a pool of talented individuals for their job vacancies.

The resounding success of the CASPA job fair was greatly supported by President Tony Xia and owed much to the dedication and support of numerous volunteers. We express our heartfelt appreciation to Sherry Li for her invaluable assistance in supporting the hiring companies and addressing their needs. George played a crucial role in managing IT support, ensuring the job fair webpage was consistently updated with accurate job openings. George also created a captivating display video for the event. Xianyu Zhang made significant contributions as the job fair webpage editor and successfully oversaw the event’s audio system, stage, and meeting setup. The check-in process, expertly organized by Sophia Yin, ran smoothly, and we extend our gratitude to Stella Zhou for her efforts in arranging a delectable lunch for all participants. We are also thankful to Zhuoliang Song, Chenxi Li, and Xiaofu Wang for their diligent work in event setup and cleanup. Tony Lee and Ian Wang delivered exceptional workshops and seminars, imparting valuable knowledge to the attendees.

Our special thanks go out to the numerous volunteers who selflessly offered their time and energy to ensure the event’s success.
